It would be nice if there was an option to assign a default path to individual videoversion types, or part of it ("startswith" type filter).
If, when adding a new title, the path coincides with the path defined in the respective videoversion, the new title or its new version (if the title already existed) would automatically rank as the corresponding videoversion.

I like the idea of a smart playlist rule addition for versions or extras. Versions is a new feature and further development in this area is ongoing.

Yes, solving it with a smart playlist rules makes sense.
I'm already looking forward to what the next development will bring. I love that Kodi is always moving forward and still coming up with new features and improving the original ones. I'm retired, we've lived at home with Kodi for over 15 years, but it's still fun for me to keep up to date.
