Back button & resume video - Mozy - 2024-06-28

I'm having trouble getting the back button to only take me up one level.

Using Aeon Tajo, I navigate to Movies->select a movie(with versions) or movie set from the movie wall. Once inside the selection, if I hit back (backspace or esc) it takes me back to the main menu screen instead of back to the movie wall.
I'm missing something, can someone help me with this? (I'd rather not have the parent folder ... feature enabled and would prefer the back button to just take me up one level on everything.)

Also, I have resume enabled but every time I try and use it, it just starts over. Is this a bug?

Try using the default skin Estuary and see if the keyboard 'backspace' will give you one level up (esc should take you back to home). Resume is an entirely different matter, you have to quit the video in the internal player for it to create the exact point you exited and write that to the .nfo internal file. Relaunch, Kodi will examine this file for play instructions. A proper debug log would help determine if your resume is properly written to the .nfo.

It’s a known issue, see:

About resuming, it’s a Kodi matter, I think that you should have watched at least a certain amount of the video for resuming to be available.
