Multiple Sources to 1 folder - dans04rex - 2024-08-05 Hello, I am new to the forum but looking for some help. I thought I did this correctly but I guess not. I currently have 2 different video sources on 2 separate drives both with 4k video. In Kodi currently I have a 4k folder that had the first bunch of videos but my library has grown so I am looking at setting up another folder on another drive to add on to this 4k folder in Kodi. I thought I did that as I went to the Edit Source option of my folder in Kodi and added the new directory. The library also updated itself with the new video's but when I go into the folder, the new video's are not there in Kodi. What did I do wrong? I have also updated the Kodi software to the latest version. Thank you for your help and sorry if this has been asked. If you have 2 movie folders on various hard drives, I would expect to see 2 Sources in Kodi, not 1 source that contains 2 paths. RE: Multiple Sources to 1 folder - dans04rex - 2024-08-05 That seems to have worked, thank you very much. Even after all these years of using Kodi, I have never really understood what adding paths to one source achieves, and why it would be better than multiple sources. Multiple sources gives better control over settings and scrapers for each source. Easier to add and remove. Allows updating a single, smaller source, rather than a full scan on a large library. |
