Some pretty good fixes, had trouble with some bugs in the past. This is hands down a good update!

I have gotten an AAC audio stutter issue going from 21.0 to 21.1

Also seem to happen on Dolby Digital (unsure if also on DD+) but much less frequent than with AAC.

I use MariaDB on my Synology to keep track of play progress on different devices (PC/Mac/Android tablet/Nvidia Shield). It worked fine with Kodi 20.5 but broke with Kodi 21 on Android, causing Kodi to crash when videos were played. Some suggested upgrading MariaDB to fix the issue, but that didn't work for me. However, the latest version, Kodi v21.1, has resolved the problem. Thank you for the hard work.

Any idea when 21.2 will be released? It should have the fix for MKA files (last track appears first and can't be directly selected) that first appeared in 21.0 many months ago. The fix was added to a nightly shortly after 21.1 came out.

I'd rather not use a potentially unstable nightly on my Nvidia Shield, particularly if an official stable update is coming out soon. I use a lot of MKA files and it's annoying to not be able to play the last music track directly.

Unfortunately not. There has been no discussion about any point releases. Not saying it won't happen, just no roadmap at the moment.

The v21 nightlies are fine to use. They are just bug fixes. It's the Master nightlies that have the potential for problems.
