Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro + Kodi v21 Cache settings - Akila3 - 2024-08-19

running Kodi 21 + Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro on latest Firmware. trying to play my Blu-ray 4K DV content streaming over my personal cloud service repository (stored on my personal online cloud storage account).
what is the best caching size parameters in Kodi (Settings->Services->Caching) you recommend in my case

Memory Size=??
Read Factor=??
Chuck Size=??

Another question in regards to maxpassthroughoffsyncduration. I have been reading that maxpassthroughoffsyncduration is also recommended (anything above 80) on Shield? is this still relevant? on the other hand I saw the thread on the forum was locked with the remarked "this issue was resolved" (not sure what he meant by it). on other other hand I read on the wiki page "Note: The advancedsettings.xml method of adding these settings is deprecated. Any tags you still may have in the file will be ignored." so if it is still relevant this settings, how could it be used if it is prompt to be ignored?
NOTE: all my Audio is passed through to my Denon AVR, no audio decoding in Kodi (Shield->AVR->TV)

Code:
<advancedsettings>
<audio>
<maxpassthroughoffsyncduration>90</maxpassthroughoffsyncduration>
</audio>
</advancedsettings>

I own same Nvidia Shield as you (and also I have Denon AVR).
You can easily download from Google Play Store Kodi 21.1

Here is my setting for Caching:
Buffer Mode = Buffer all network filesystems, including SMB, NFS, etc.
Memory Size = 64 MB
Read Factor = 7x
Chunk Size = 128 KB (default)

Regarding maxpassthroughoffsyncduration - forget it.
Thanks to Kodi 21.1 the default set is 50 ms and it is really perfect.
I use test build couple of months and I can not say anything against A/V sync.

I have it at 128 MB / Adaptive / 128 KB

No issues.
