Hopefully this puts an end to the people on Reddit who tried to argue because it has Widevine L1 it would get 4K in every app.

Thanks for your review. Interesting that this appears to perform a little better than AM8 Pro with regard to video playback even though specs are almost identical. I assume under Android. Were you able to compare with CoreELEC?

CoreELEC support for S928XX chipsets is basically in alpha stage, so I wouldn't risk damaging the box for this. (It should work with CoreELEC 22 nightly)

Ugoos SK1 with CE has better performance than AM8, especially in ISO formats.

I previously used my minix u22-xj with CE because it really improved performance with video playback. But in the case of SK1 (and also, mostly, AM8 pro), I don't feel the need for it, and it would also mean I'll lose the android OS advantage.
