Info on audio settings - Unlimited - 2024-09-03 Hi! I've recently bought a pair of sorround speakers, to complete my sorround system 5.1, with these components: TV: Philips Oled 857/10 Soundbar: TAB 8507/10 + Wireless Subwoofer Rear satellite: 2 X TAW6205/10 The soundbar it's connected through EArc, and support all Dolby formats, the satellites are play-fi connected. My question is, I normally play video clip via USB HDD, and I know TVs does not allow pass through with TrueHD audio. I'm confused about correct setting in audio options, number of audio channels and formats. So: 1: If I want simple 5.1 sorround audio (Dolby digital, or digital plus) how many channels I have to set? 2.0? Or 5.1? 2. If I play TrueHD audio clips, how many channel I have to set, to obtain some sort of sorround audio anyway? Thanks a lot!!
