After Xbox One update the Configure menu of some plugins don't show. - xbmcuser01 - 2024-09-06

After a (forced) Xbox One update the Configure menu of some plugins don't show. Examples: 'Opensubtitle.com', 'The Movie Datsbase Python', 'TMDb TV Shows', ...

I remember recently entering settings for the 'Opensubtitles.com' plug-in so it was working before.

Can anybody with an Xbox (One) confirm this?

All have configure menus for me.

I don't know how to take a screenshot on Xbox/Kodi so I took a picture of how the Config menu of 'The Movie Database Python' (= standard in every installation of Kodi?) looks now:

This menu is in:
Settings > Add-ons > My add-ons > Information providers > Movie information > The movie database Python > Configure.

Try with a different skin then we'll know if it's skin or Kodi related.

Very good idea! Unfortunately: with Aeon Nox theme the same... Weird isn't it?

Backup, uninstall Kodi, reinstall Kodi.

Again, the simplest advise is usually the best.  Wink

Anyway what happened was... Somehow this file became a 0 byte file (corrupted?) because when I restored its settings from the backup:

File manager > Profile directory > addon_data > serivce.subtitles.opensubtitles-com > settings.xml (0.00 B)

The problem appeared again. I deleted the file and re-installed the add-on. Problem gone.
