two part TV episodes in one file - general79 - 2024-10-09
I have Media Companion and its good.
I have some TV series with two —or three-part episodes. So, I put each part in one file to make a full episode instead of part one and then part two.
S05E12 The Proposal part 1
S05E13 The Proposal part 2
So, in the title of the VIDEO file, do i format it to this here S05E12E13 The Proposal

Remember that this is just a name. Kodi has no idea where the episodes actually start and end, but you can add bookmarks... https://kodi.wiki/view/Bookmarks_and_chapters#Episode_bookmarks
Personally I would leave them as separate files if they are listed as separate episodes at the scraper site.

what if they part 1-2 or 3 episodes with different title names to them.

Kodi doesn't care what you name the file. All it is looking for is the S01E01 numbering. Everything else is irrelevant.
