Kodi Xbox Series X app installation stopped after Oct 30 2024 Xbox Series X Update - robbula - 2024-11-03
After the Xbox October 30 2024 update, the Kodi app update fails to install. Specifically during an update attempt no data is downloaded, and the installation is stopped. The message shown by Xbox is "We're having trouble with this. Try uninstalling and reinstalling this. To uninstall, go to your games and apps, select this one, and press the menu button on your controller. (0x80073cf9)". I tried doing that but run into the same issue. Another weird thing is the size of the installation payload keeps changing when I retry (by 3.09 MB). Anyone else having this issue, or suggestions for how to fix it? Kodi was working fine on my Xbox Series X before the system update so my guess is that is the issue. Thanks!
