Choose the Movie on Monitor 1 and have the Output shown on Monitor 2. - JonNada - 2024-11-03 Hello everyone, Many years ago, I already took a closer look at Kodi and all these topics. Back then I also had a dual monitor setup and I'm sure it was possible to select and start a movie on screen A and have it start on the second screen. I just can't remember how to do it. Is my memory deceiving me that much or can someone help me? Maybe it was possible with a special skin or a corresponding addon? Many thanks in advance. RE: Choose the Movie on Monitor 1 and have the Output shown on Monitor 2. - PatK - 2024-11-04 This is a windows o/s procedure. Start with all hardware turned on and engaged. Engage display switch, (win+p) choose the display(s) you want.. Launch Kodi. Choose the video.. to be played, and Kodi will start playing on the chosen screen. Multi-task PC for windows operations (screen 1) + Kodi (screen2) Engage display switch, (win+p) 'extended screen' desktop should embrace both displays Launch Kodi and use the windowed version (\) Key above the return key. Use the mouse pointer & drag the windowed Kodi to second screen With Luck using the (\) slash key will expand to full screen on #2 If Kodi jumps back to #1, use the slash... do the drag and use full screen window. OTH: If you want to utilize Kodi's library at the same time you're playing a movie, pressing the backspace key twice should get your interface up over the video. The other work-rounds are using Web interface (wiki) or commercial programs like Yaste Does this ring any bells? |
