i have the Pro 8k plus - leo5111 - 2024-12-06 i have the Pro 8k plus i plug my hard drives in through a 3 port hub to the usb 3 on my duo 4k and i can index all my videos into libary in kodi, the Pro 8k plus i go to do same thing and tell it to index and it does nothing when i tell it to updates says it see,s no videos now if i get out of kodi and look on dash disks are there and accessible under add files i open disk go to movie folder and then tell it to add to collection or update collection either way nothing happens also if i click on a movie when im in there it goes to next screen it wont start playing the movie, when i click on movie it just goes to next screen nothing in it thats in kodi RE: i have the Pro 8k plus - leo5111 - 2024-12-06 its a android permissions issue because Dunes own indexer see,s everything fine and my real vision 4k does when i plug in the usb drives and indexes fine in kodi but not the 8k dune RE: i have the Pro 8k plus - leo5111 - 2024-12-11 anyone who gets same issue turns out go to permissions and change it to give permission all the time, it was set to only when in use and tab remove permissions if not used turn off RE: i have the Pro 8k plus - clarkss12 - 2024-12-12 (2024-12-11, 23:38)leo5111 Wrote: anyone who gets same issue turns out go to permissions and change it to give permission all the time, it was set to only when in use and tab remove permissions if not used turn off Thanks for that update.. I just received my Pro 8K Plus yesterday. Still testing it. Unfortunately, it still does NOT play the VC-1 video without many skipped frames. Side note. Since you want to use this media player for Kodi, you can install CoreELEC on the microSD card. You won't get Dolby Vision Profile 7 with FEL, but it does play that format without any issues. |
