1024x768 mode - VewDew - 2008-09-28 Hello, I have xbmc running on XP and connect to my 36" lcd 720p Tv. When I set the resolution to 1024x768 full screen and play a video, it shows the window frame with the minimize, maximize and close buttons and not all of the video. Is there anyway to set this up correctly? - Hitcher - 2008-09-28 Settings > Video > Player > 1024x768 (Fullscreen) - althekiller - 2008-09-28 Last I checked 720p was 1280x720 Most 720p TVs don't use this res either though. I can't remember off had what it is but it's NOT 1024x768. - dhrandy - 2008-09-28 1366x768 - althekiller - 2008-09-28 That's the one - Hitcher - 2008-09-28 althekiller Wrote:Last I checked 720p was 1280x720 Most 720p TVs don't use this res either though. That's the native res of my plasma and I use VGA. - VewDew - 2008-09-29 dhrandy Wrote:1366x768 I am at work right now, so I can't check but can that resolution be set in XBMC? - mitul103 - 2008-09-29 VewDew Wrote:I am at work right now, so I can't check but can that resolution be set in XBMC? It can if your graphics card is capable of doing that resolution. - midgetspy - 2008-09-29 althekiller Wrote:Last I checked 720p was 1280x720 Most 720p TVs don't use this res either though. Many/most 720p Plasmas are native 1024x768. - Gamester17 - 2008-09-30 midgetspy Wrote:Many/most 720p Plasmas are native 1024x768.Then they are not true native 720p displays but only "720p input compatible", see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_Ready and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/720p#Specifications |
