TV Show RegEx Question: Scanning DVD-Folders possible? - Deekay - 2009-06-21 Hello all, I scanned my DVD collection, including some TV show. I have a problem with "Monty Pythons Flying Circus" it is the only DVD that I could not convert into MKV-Files per Episode (some structural error/copy protection)... my other 400 DVDs worked fine...so my problem: I have one VIDEO_TS folder per DVD, each containing 3 Episodes. Any way to get XBMC to scan the VIDEO_TS.ifo file as TV series? It only seems to work for movies, but not TV shows. I already tried: 1) Naming the folder containing the VIDEO_TS according to the TV show scraper description (tried one and multiple episode format) 2) placing a VIDEO_TS.nfo file containing the episonde info It did not work. Any idea how to solve this? Any help appreciated... XBMC works like a charm.. this is the only remaining issue I am struggling with - warthog34 - 2009-06-22 Just a newb here so I could be off, but from what I've seen in a couple threads is that the TV shows work better if you rip them to ISO images instead of the video TS folders. Solved - Deekay - 2009-06-23 Thanks warthog34, you are right... with the Iso-files it works (e.g. S01E01-02-03) for three seasons on one disk. I initially went for the folders because I got read errors ripping to iso... but with AnyDVD it worked :-) Cheers Deekay |
