for i play this files, i use:
a) this mplayer (unrar mplayer and codecs.conf and copy in mplayer dir)
b) this codecs (unrar and copy in mplayer\codecs)
c) xbmc 2004-08-29 and some modif that are in sf. (some improvements)
if you want to test download a) and b). you need xbmc > 2004-08-18

i added some new exports (in sf), but basicly it's already working in cvs xbmc! can you test it? i don't have xbox here

if i'm correct than you only have to put 3ivx (quicktime extension) in your mplayer\codecs or also the other quicktime extensions from the qtextras folder?

i tested the test file with a compiled cvs release xbmc-2004-08-21 and it works great only the quality of the movie (music clip) is not so great but i think that's because the test file is a low quality one...

i don't know if this got something to do with your mplayer.dll but i'm using a compiled cvs of xbmc 2004-08-27 and your mplayer.dll to play .mov (3ivx). i can only play 2/3 times a .mov file and then there is only 4 or 9mb freememory left...:

i detected this 'memory leak' so i make some modifications in imp/exp... i'll debug little (when got xbox) and send code...
which quicktime dlls use? (5, 6, 6.3)
