Would be the first ION Solution with passive cooling and dual core. hmmm... And they only report 50C operating temperature. Too good to be true. Just a shame they only have blueray and no dvd option. Blueray with mandatory win7 license pushes the price over 600$. Hope there is a way to build in dvd manually. I look forward to a user experience report. - DeadPenguin - 2009-11-10 In the link below it says the base model is $379 and it gives a the cost of the Bluray add on at $225. http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/2009/11/06/myka-ion-hd-player-features-hulu-boxee-xbmc/#more-14112 - sircube - 2009-11-10 DeadPenguin Wrote:In the link below it says the base model is $379 and it gives a the cost of the Bluray add on at $225. http://torrentfreak.com/the-myka-bittorrent-box-a-scam-090118/ http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2009/10/28/review-myka-250/ I mean even after reading these I'm quite suspicious going for an order. No support on forums. No live pictures or review on e.g Youtube or more HW famous review sites. - ion_man - 2009-11-10 Seems like a Zotac board inside a fairly crappy looking case to me. Much better to buy the parts from newegg and build it yourself. - ion_man - 2009-11-10 sircube Wrote:http://torrentfreak.com/the-myka-bittorrent-box-a-scam-090118/ These are not Atom+ION boxes, these are Popcornhour clones, XBMC will never work on those. - sircube - 2009-11-10 ion_man Wrote:These are not Atom+ION boxes, these are Popcornhour clones, XBMC will never work on those. Indeed. What I meant is that even this company released a popcorn hour clone 6 months ago, you hardly find evidence it exists. ION version might be another mistery... |
