XBMC solution - GamersCircle - 2009-12-09 Hey all - for the last couple years, I have been successfully using XBMC on a couple of xbox via the home network. This past week, we have upgraded the home entertainment and I would like to see about upgrading the XBMC as well. I am looking for a new solution that will still allow me to pull the movies, sonds, etc from the home network, but I would like to output to 1080p HDMI. I am looking for recommendations for both HW and SW. thanks and I am sorry if this has been asked and answered already. - natethomas - 2009-12-09 I'm gonna move this to the hardware section, but if the conversation drifts back to XBMC, I may move it back. Also, I personally recommend the Acer AspireRevo, if you add an additional gig of ram. It's $200; it's small; and it's easy to use. And, if you use Linux, it'd have no problem with 1080p video. |
