Im about to switch to xbmc on all 5 HTPCs in my house.. im coming from using 7MC. Since my kids and wife are use to 7's GUI.. is there a skin that somewhat loooks like 7MC?

Nope. Just pick the skin that works best for you and your family. http://xbmc.org/skins/ (I'd recommend Rapier)

Thankfully nothing resembles that pile of rubbish (after all this is a family question)
For ease of use I personally would recomend Xperience from Team Blackbolt.
If you or the kids are used to an X Box 360 then they will fit easily into this.

I have to agree, Xperience or Ellipsis are probably the two simplest and most user friendly skins at the moment.
