[LINUX] Logitech iTouch Server on Linux to control XBMC via TouchMouse iPhone app? - tebones - 2010-02-02 Hi, all you greate coders!!! Thx for a wonderful app ![]() I read this today, and would really like to support for this iPhone app on the Linux version ![]() http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/01/logitech-app-turns-your-iphone-into-wireless-trackpad-or-keyboar/ Regards Trond Erik - hotlobster - 2010-02-02 I doubt Logitech will port their server on linux. But it already exists for ages on linux/other plateform. Install any VNC server on your linux box ( i use x11vnc ), and then install Touchpad on your iphone ( it's a vnc client without screen, just to remote control with virtual keyboard and mouse, exactly as Logitech one ). Works like a charm. I use it with the WebBrowser plugin, to control Firefox. x11vnc - tebones - 2010-02-06 Thx for the tip ![]() Did as you told me! But cant seem to make a connection from my iPhone to the server. It works with any other VNC client`? Pls advice TRond E |
