It is possible to set the screensaver to show a different slideshow screensaver based on the library you are.
If you are browsing the movie library and the screensaver kick in it will display a movie related slideshow screensaver the same for music and/or tvshows.
or at least which .xml is the screensaver declare, if there is one.

Why not just set up multiple user accounts? I have Master User, TV Shows, etc etc depending upon my mood.
So the screen saver if I am in TV Shows, will show TV shows and not music etc.
There are ways around a lot of requests, without bogging down the actual program.
If I had my way, then you could have XBMC to recognise when you have fallen asleep, pause the movie, and then play again when you request.
Either that or bring me a cup of coffee in the morning.
Sadly my requests won't be fullfilled.
