Screensaver slideshow bug - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-20 Hi, Screensaver slideshow doesn work for me. I select "slideshow" and then I select "screensaver preview" and then XBMC hangs. I put xbmc.log in http://pastebin.com/REHeik84. It shows some errors. Some information: - Tested XBMC Camelot (9.11) and trunk (rev 29377). - Ubuntu karmic (9.10). - Used ./configure without options. Another issue is that the screensaver works in arm_camelot branck on a beagleboard! I tried to report the bug but I couldn't. Regards, Vane. Solved - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-20 Sorry, I had to select the slideshow folder, otherwise it hangs. Regards. - jmarshall - 2010-04-21 Please post a bug report on trac with the full details to reproduce. - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-21 jmarshall Wrote:Please post a bug report on trac with the full details to reproduce. I tried to create a new ticket but the result was: Error: Forbidden TICKET_CREATE privileges are required to perform this operation Is this the way to report a bug? I've read http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_Submit_a_Proper_Bug_Report. Regards. - jmarshall - 2010-04-21 Login first. - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-22 jmarshall Wrote:Login first. Ok, now I can report a bug, but this one is not a bug, it's solved. You have to select a picture folder. Thanks! - jmarshall - 2010-04-22 It is a bug. If you don't select a folder it should not hang. - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-22 jmarshall Wrote:It is a bug. If you don't select a folder it should not hang. Mmm, I'm not sure... If you select a non-pictures folder (a folder when you have other type of documents) and you you select "screensaver preview", xbmc seems to hang but it doesn't. If you leave it alone for a while (some seconds), then it responds again (I've discovered this today) and then it shows some pictures that I don't know where they are but I'm pretty sure they aren't in the folder you have selected. I think I need more test. If I'll discover something, I'll post it here and if, finally, is a bug, I'll report it. Thank you. - spiff - 2010-04-23 see http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/9096 - vane.xbmc - 2010-04-23 spiff Wrote:see http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/9096Ok |
