two questions, really...

1. is there a way to control playback of audio tracks? so what button do i hit to pause playback, fast forward, rewind, stop, etc.??

2. if i'm new to xbmc (obviously i am!), should i use xbmp until xbmc is refined more? seems like there is more documentation and support for xbmc. is it a more mature solution? are there any benefits of sticking with xbmc? can i just run both?

thx!

question 1:
with the remote control: yes you can skip to next/prev song, pause and stop. no ff/rw yet
with the remote controller: not yet

question 2:
if you want something that works, with documentation etc then use xbmp.

if you want the latest stuff and dont mind the bugs/lack of documentation and or missing features then i say use xbmc
xbmc is still alpha/beta right now, but its pretty stable and most features are working
besides this there's much more support for xbmc right now and new versions are released regulary
