- garoboldy - 2004-11-22 i have the 11-18 build running and my when i try to work with kai it keeps showing very few of the games that i have on the harddrive specifically nfsug2/halo2/etc. even when i try to go to an arena that shows up it asked for a disc to insert even though i have all my games in the f:/games directory. does the new release such as 19 or anything fix these problems?? - runtime - 2004-11-22 use f:\games not f:/games (and be aware apparently its case-sensitive, so check that it matches with what your games directory is actually called). - why do so many people insist on using *nix-style '/' instead of '\' - garoboldy - 2004-11-22 that is in the xml file i assume. the use of \ and / is somewhat bothersome since some people have to relate from windows and linux together. such as myself, business i use windows and stage 2k3 servers all the time. at home i use os x and redhat. anyway thanks again. - runtime - 2004-11-23 have a look in settings -> general -> xlink kai; there's no need to be editing xml when specifiying your games directory. perhaps its an annoyance, but very few of our users do use linux and since xbmc is designed for a microsoft platform the code expects '\' by default. |
