i'am having troubles with the voice chat on xlink. for some reason it doesn't work all the time i end up having to restart and play with the voice settings a couple of times to get it working. not sure why it doesn't work maybe someone can help me out on this, or if there's someone with the same problem let me know? what i know is that you highlight the persons name and move over the voice botton and you see a little white mic by the name. but it doesn't work all the time.

assuming they have a headset and mic, and they respond by enabling voice chat for you then you should be able to have a conversation no problems.  but thats a few if's there Smile

if your friends use xbmc kai, they will get a popup to tell them you've enabled voice chat for them.  they can then choose whether or not to reciprocate.  until they do, they will continue to be alerted by a flashing speaker icon next to your name (whenever they look at their friends list).

edit: i should add that it is only possible to use voice chat if you're not watching or listening to music in ac3/dts passthru mode (that feature requires exclusive use of the sound hardware). you'll get the notification if someone wants to talk to you - so its up to you to decide whether you stop watching/listening.
