- mindweaver - 2004-01-06 this isn't a major issue but i just experienced it and thought i'd share it here on the bug section. when you play a .mp3 track that you are downloading (playing for example a 56 min mix before the whole file has reached the hdd) and playtime exceedes the download speed the track stops and xbmc crashes/freezes with no way of even hitting that sweet igr. just thought you should know. add it somewere far down on the to do list :) - mindweaver - 2004-01-06 let's add one here shall we. a nice function in xbmc is that you can start a .mp3 file and when it's finished it automaticly runs the next .mp3 file in the current folder. now to the problem. when you get to the last .mp3 in the folder and it runs to the end xbmc crashes. i think it only happens when you have that id3 tag function turned off. i think that function makes browsing go slower so i don't want to use it. therefor you must fix so that xbmc doesn't crash on last file. i'm running xbmc cvs 2004-01-02 and relax v0.75 - Bobbin007 - 2004-01-06 i've tried to reproduce your bug, but i couldn't. i followed the steps you gave, but no crash. i'm using relax 0.76pre maybe this is the point? ![]() or is the file that is crashing something else then a mp3? greets bobbin007 - mindweaver - 2004-01-06 thanks for checking it out. i'll try the 0.76pre aswell. and yeah, it is mp3-files. |
