- blontic - 2004-12-29 i'm sure this has been mentioned before, but why can't we set it up so that it all runs on the xbox without having to run it also on my pc. i use a mac and haven't been able to get it to run the software properly and my pc is in a friends room and hardly ever on. i would love to be able to sit down at my xbox and not worry if my pc is running to play some games. even if it wasn't part of xbmc but another program we could install somewhere on the drive and link to it. anyone know if this will ever happen? i heard http://xbconnect.com/ are working on something like this but it doesn't run from within xbmc. - Hojou - 2005-01-03 your xbox is not multitasking, you want it to run your game... it can't do the packet conversions at the same time. your xbox was never ment to do more than play one game at a time, so i doubt it would be possible to make a dashboard capable of multitasking - and not crashing when trying to play (non-homebrew) games - blontic - 2005-01-05 thanks for the reply, that makes sense. - blontic - 2005-01-08 i decided it would be easier if i just brought a linksys wrt56g router and use that instead of my pc. this is by far the best solution. |
