i see that i can mutli images for this but i have to select which files i want for the backgrounds, no? can i have it just randomly display my fanart so i dont have to select one by one?

Set up a folder that is full of fanart images, then select that folder as your "source" for the multi-images, then it rotates images.

or you could point your multiimage control to:
special://profile/Thumbnails/Video/Fanart
and you're done. (Thanks to Ronie for the info)

This is why I have 3 folders set up full of images, TV, Movie and Music. I add to them now and again to keep it fresh.

i've asked this before but have never worked it out for xbmc live. when i choose multi image, i can't find this location (special://profile/Thumbnails/Video/Fanart). i assume its hidden? and i can't manually input this location either...

when i first select multi image, it gives me locations:
- home folder
- root file system

in root file system, i can't locate it. and in home folder, it just takes me to /home/xbmc/ and its not in there.

please help Smile i can putty in to edit the path but no idea what to edit.

Finally worked it out... U have to go into settings > appearances > file lists > enable "show hidden files and directories"
