Hi new user to XBMC forum. Got the NEON skin which is very nice.


One thing I cant seem to be able to do is when I go to the 'Search' Function within XBMC. I cannot use my remote to move around the OSD keyboard and input anything.

All other commands work fine within XBMC, just unable to figure this one out


Anyone able to shed some light on this for me please?

I am using Win 7 64 bit as my OS if you need to know that.

What happens when you press a number key? Does it display the digit?

Somewhere in the settings there is an option called something like "My remote sends keyboard commands". Change that and try again.

I use a harmony remote and needed to set the remote sends keyboard commands option to use the directional buttons in the on screen keyboard.

Once set works great.
