failed rtmp fix

I was trying to get streaming to work on my apple tv 1 and read alot of posts about updating the librtmp file. I replaced the file with the updated one for OS X and when i restarted xbmc it pulls up the error code 10.
Here is the log file. http://pastebin.com/uBXja8yL

I've tried different librtmp files, but no matter what i do it comes back with the same error. As much as i would like to get streaming working, i would much rather have access to all my movies and tv shows like normal. If some one could just link the original librtmp i would be happy.

Like i said it is on the apple tv 1, Eden 11.0 software. Download via flashdrive, but did not do the Linux download.
Thanks!

wrong librtmp for that version of osx. it does not know how to handle that load command.

I also have an Apple TV 1 and have tried all the different librtmp files including the ones on the wiki page for Mac OSx and iOS and none of them work. Keeps bombing out with the error code 10. I've searched everywhere and no one seems to know how to update the librtmp file for the Apple TV 1. If someone had the correct file and an instruction on what to do I would really appreciate it. Has anyone out there managed to get this working on ATV 1?

Where it says:
Mac OS X Download and extract librtmp.0.dylib
Replace XBMC.app/Contents/Frameworks/librtmp.0.dylib (Right-Click on XBMC, Show Package Contents) with the new version.

How is that done on an ATV 1? I have tried in ATV's (atvflash) download menu even to right click, hold menu button etc...to see if that would work... Do ATV1 users perhaps have to re-run the eden install to enable the changes instead of the 'right-click' mentioned?

As per above posters, I also had the same issue. I could not launch xbmc ( I could get thru the screen stating xbmc eden but it would half load the next screen and then go grey and then "exited with status: 10" me back to ATV main menu.

I tried multiple times (and did) upload via cyberduck into the stated directory which is when the crashes started. After reading this thread, I redownloaded and reuploaded the file to ensure it was the one suggested.

I eventually just ran the xbmc download from atvflash and am now up and running again. I haven't learned yet how to post a log and don't know if that would help here...

How can I check to see if I am running the correct/new librtmp file / see if what I have done has started it up or just put the original file back into function and I would gladly reply back with results.

Thanks OP for original question and all for replies!

This is exactly what happened to me, almost word for word. I'm glad i'm not the only one. And "update the librtmp" or "wrong librtmp" is not helpful. We have already tried that, that is why xbmc is crashing. If i can get this fix I'll probably just buy Boxee, then everything will just work, hopefully...

Fix a copy of XBMC.app on Mac OS X, then use Cyberduck (wiki) to transfer it to the ATV1 to the /Applications/ directory.
