if there's a trailer available, you'll see a small clickable icon at the top-right of the screen.

Hmmm... I wonder why I'm not getting this.
I have very common movies in my library right now so I don't see a reason why there wouldn't be a trailer option....

In settings/skin/icons make sure you haven't toggled 'hide' trailer icon.
In the scraper/settings/trailers try a different source for your trailers... not all trailers are available in HD; when you scrape the URL is saved in the .nfo file and URL's are like shifting sands of the desert.
I personally use 3rd party software and save the trailers locally.
