Hi,
Is there a way on Android and XBMC to control how videos use hardware to play back? I ask this, as I have a number of streaming video apps, which seem to have no problems playing back HD video, but with the XBMC app, I get quite jerky playback. A classic example is the FilmOn plugin.
If I play this on my Android HDMI stick via the browser, it plays fine. However, if I use FilmOn via XBMC the quality is much poorer and almost unwatchable. It is such a pity as the Android HDMI Stick generally has a terrible UI when navigating website - that is, until XBMC is used, which has a fantastic UI... but I am getting terrible video quality from most plugins.
Any ideas? It would be so great if this would work as XBMC is otherwise the nicest thing on the HDMI stick...
