DLNA & SMB network access and Android configuration problems
#1
Recently I installed XBMC Frodo on my Minix Neo X5 Android unit. Overall I am quite impressed with this release, but I also encountered a few problems related to home network access
I do have access to various computers (operating systems Win, Win7, Ubuntu), Router (Netgear WNDR 3700) with WD 3700 Readyshare Harddisk of 1TB (WD HD) via USB on it. It supports DLNA.
The WD HD content is directly accessible for Pictures and Video’s as follows:
a. directly clickable as WD HD
b. via the SMB network drill down to WD HD
Now I encounter the following problem, when using access via route a) I cannot anymore connect and get the message ‘unit not accessible, is in use. My Android may even freeze completely after a few tries.
But: via route b) SMB network I can still access it (if Android is not frozen of course).
Questions:
1. How to fix this simply, without adding / creating confusion for illiterate users in my home?
2. I think there must always be an override possibility in the XBMC system if things get clogged
3. How can I dismount or edit the entries to my computers in XBMC (see a) and or b).
I see the possibility to add (+), but none to delete or edit previously configured entries
4. This problem (3) also goes for add on’s. I could ad and delete them in the beginning, but later on this feature seems no longer accessible

Also:
When starting up XBMC on my Android I get get a warning: ‘service.py error’. I don’t know what it means and what to do about it. Is it only annoying of does it have effect?
Who can help me out?
