I'm currently playing with my recordings, cutting unwanted parts from beginning and end.
But, if I play this recording, it stops always a couple of seconds before really end. Is this an already known issue or what do I have to do to avoid is. This behavior make it difficulty to cut recordings. Start of recording is always ok.
I think it has to do with local buffering in xbmc. If recording comes to end, server tells addon end of recording reached, addon tells this xbmc and xbmc will stop playing immediately.

Normal recording or one that is still in progress?

hmm, strange. now it takes the same code pass as normal files. vnsi does not do much when playing a recording, it's much like opening a local file.
You have updates XBMC?

Yes, I cloned your master xbmc branch into a new directory. Only the addon and vnsiserver is a little bit older.
This issue exists here for a long time

How many seconds do you miss at the end?

7 seconds
I looked to the time in the osd (playing the recording as a normal movie), the time on the right shows me the total time of the recording (43:49) and the time on the left is the current play time. This time stops at 43:42 and will not be incremented during the last 7 seconds. This is exactly the time recording stops too early. However, if I press Pause/Play during this last 7 seconds, time on the left will be actualized.
It makes no difference using an untouched recording or a cutted, always these 7s are lost (SD material)
