Problems using MySQL db with Samsung Galaxy S3 - advancedsettings.xml
#1
has anyone had success getting XBMC loaded on a Samsung Galaxy S3 to read the advancedsettings.xml? I am using a shared DB with advancedsettings.xml on my Win7 PC, and 2 GBox Midnights with Android.

For some reason XBMC frodo 12.0 (same version on all my clients) on my Galaxy S3 won't read the advancedsettings.xml I have it located in: Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata/ I also have a sources.xml in the same location XBMC does read that and load it.

any suggestions? I'm using the exact same advancedsettings.xml file on all 4 clients only the Galaxy S3 is it not following it's instructions

debug log (wiki) needed so we can see the startup info and see why the advancedsettings.xml file doesn't load.

So it turned out the intro black screen was locking because my work network had something funky going on with port 3306. Off WiFi it loaded, I had work open up the port and now I am good to go.
