Hello Everyone,

I've come across a problem with my XBMC Remote being used through a external IP address. When I'm on my cell phone network and not my wireless network I connect using an external IP and a Port that I already forwarded, I even have the exact MAC address of the device being used as well. My problem is it never connects, it just keeps spinning. But if I connect to my wireless network, both the external settings and internal settings work for the remote.

Anyone have any ideas here for a fix?

I have the same issue and it does not matter I'm not wireless or not. Did you ever have any luck?

It was a dumb issue on my part. Rebooting your router should help, but first check to make sure your port is open: http://www.canyouseeme.org/
