Just to confirm the 31/12/2014 Millhouse build works as expected - less than 2 seconds delay on 1st entry to recordings screen and similar on stopping playback of a recording

For the uninitiated who want a more usable PVR RaspberryPi Kodi Helix installation immediately:
1) Download leopolds addins (.zip file) http://ls80.github.io/script.openelec.devupdate/
2) Copy it to your openelec installation (scp or via the shared folder)
2) Add Addon from zip file on XBMC
3) Enable Program Addons->Openelec Dev Update
4) Configure it to use the MillhouseVH builds
5) Run the addon (from the addons menu or by installing a shortcut to it in the program section)
6) Select the 31/12/2014 millhouseVH build (or later) and install

For a more usable experience also get the 1.10.1 mythtv addon .zip file: https://www.canneasucre.org/owncloud/pub...4750925043
install that and disable artwork for recordings (you can leave the channel icons enabled as their performance seems OK)

Hopefully this will make Openelec 5.0.1

I checked out the 2/1/2015 MillhouseVH build. Time to enter the recording screen 1st time and return to the recordings screen after playing a recording are similar to the 31/12/2014 build.
Playback is a bit juddery compared to my openelec 4.2.1 system, but I guess this is not related.

I've added it to helix_rbp_backports which is used by offial builds or openelec/raspbmc/osmc.

It should be in the next (e.g. 14.1) release of these.
