Hello,
For some reason when I rewind live tv, it is very choppy, and the audio cuts in and out. However, fast forward works fine. I tried Myth Frontend and do not see this behavior. Any idea on what is causing this?
thx

Does no one else experience this behavior?

Hi these things are handled by the kodi player, not the addon. I prefer use skip back instead rewind to avoid it.
Behavior was better with Gotham.
EDIT: seems to run better when addon handled demuxing. In this case Kodi use time seek instead file position. But issue still in Kodi. Since Helix something have been changed around seek and timeshift but seems that doesn't run for addon not handle demuxing. Also even enabling demuxing in the addon the behavior is not as well as Gotham.

Ok, thx. I will log it in the bug tracker for Kodi, unless you know it's already been logged.

I also noticed quicker/smoother rewinding and skipping before switching to the alphas. Glad to know it wasn't just my configs. FWIW, after repeated testing and logspotting over the last couple of days, nothing notable to report even after turning on ffmpeg/cmyth/video and jacking up myth's log level. What was interesting is that rewinding in mythfrontend has become a bit more hesitant but that's likely due to my making the jump to myth 0.28 about a week ago.
