Like the title says I would like to find out how to the backgrounds for this skin. After a little research on how to do it, it seems the methods I found that were used whether they be for the default skin or ones you download after didn't seem to apply to Arctic Zephyr, if that makes sense. Am I missing something? Are the files for this skin setup a little differently then lets say the skin Aeon Nox? Which by the way I found the inclusion of ones own backgrounds to be quite easily to implement. I do hope someone can answer my question. Also I hope that I was not dumb enough to not see something that may or may not be truly obvious. Anyway let me know, thanks.

You can change de default background in skin settings.

Under Settings, Background you then can change the "fallback image". That will then be the new background that the skin uses.

I have a question on this as well. I am trying to create a fallback image that contains text. When I load it, everything looks fine, but when I use the menu and go back to the main screen, the text is always blurry. I've tried it at multiple resolutions (1920x1200 and 1024x768) but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? This thing is driving me nuts!

Put it in a folder by itself and set that folder as the home slideshow:

Skin Settings > Home > Set slideshow path.

How can i disable all widgets on home?

If i set the widget to "none" it still uses the default Spotlight-widget.

I'd like to just show a fan art slideshow or at least a single image without any widget overlay.

The FAQ mentions:

“Q. Why can't I see such and such folder when browsing for a background?
A. You need to set that folder as a source in the file manager. …”

Could you Explain how to add the folder as a source?, Than you!
