I just downloaded Kore a couple of days ago. Tonight, I noticed in my TV Show list that there was at least on TV Show that did not show the correct unwatched count in the list but showed the correct count when I viewed the TV Show page for that show.

Is there something that I need to do to update the count? Does it just take time to update after starting Kore?

You don't need to do anything. It will be synced and show the correct number eventually.
