I recently updated the channel listings in my MythTV back-end and as a part of that, added in some customized channel icons (essentially the same, but made the background transparent and gave them a little style, etc)
When I purged and updated the Kodi "front-ends" on the network, some of them picked up the new icons, and the OpenELEC boxes only grabbed some of the new icons, but kept some of the old ones too. I've tried purging the channel data and reloading it from the back-end a few times and it only grabs a few of the icons...but not necessarily the same ones each time.

Anybody got any idea why the icons are not being picked up?

Under 'Settings > Live TV > Client specific > Client specific settings', there is an option to 'Reset cache for channel icons'. That ought to cause Kodi to repopulate its channel icons from the backend.
