super favourites problem

I create a new SF folder e.g "iptv addons" and select certain addons to go into my SF folder eg BBC iplayer,ITV player etc.

I then set the "iptv addons" folder as a widget using the arctic zephyr skin

system/customise home/customise main menu/widget.

The widgets then show up perfectly on my home screen.

But when i try to launch any of the addons from the widget, the addon flashes up for a second in the background
then takes me to the files,playlists and video addons screen.

what am i doing wrong?

has anybody come across this before,if so what do i need to do to resolve this problem?

my setup below

skin:-arctic zephyr

kodi version:-15.2 "Isengard"

platform:-Android

I'm getting an almost identical problem And I'm on 14.2 helix on a pc and ccm helix skin.

What did you do, did you fix it?

I have build with at least 4 super favs widgets however its on ftv skin and I am not sure they are not submenus rather than true widgets

Some other people are experiencing the same, but I don't know if it's a super favourites problem or skin problem. Yep, I am looking at it, nothing obvious jumps out. So going to dig deeper over the weekend and see what I can find.

Nice!! love the addon, It's just a minor bug in an amazing addon though, so no rush .

Might be just about there, its quite a change so needs some serious testing!

Tbh I think it is rather powerful though as with it you can make just about any functionality you want available from the homescreen, eg I've now got

Clean video library
Update video library
Update music library
Clean music library
Update repos
Refresh addons
Browse video addons
Browse music addons
Browse program addons
Browse picture addons
File manager
Weather
Shutdown

All in a single widget, which I think is kinda cool!

Okay, I *think* this has now been resolved. For something so seemingly simple this has been a major PITA.

I have had to quite radically change some of the behaviour of SF in order to get the widgets to work correctly but I think it is all working and hopefully I haven't broken anything.

This version (1.0.46) is currently only available in my repo ( https://github.com/spoyser/spoyser-repo/...-1.0.6.zip ), I'll give it a few days and if no issues are reported I'll submit it too the official repo.
