Kai works fine and everything. I set it up as engine only(for dashboards) to work w/ XBMC and is awesome! My only nag is that I hate rebooting back from a game into XBMC to choose a different arena. Sometimes the arena will end up being closed when I finally get to system link. So I haven't found out a way to still have it work with XBMC and then have the pc take over when I boot the game up so i can choose arenas from the pc without rebooting XBMC. Also would this work if I set up kai on a laptop on the network so i can have it sitting in front of me? Thanks.

Of course you can do this. Install XLink Kai on your laptop and control Kai from there. You must connect your Xbox with your laptop then.
But remember: Only one UI on Engine. If you open XBMC your Kai UI on your laptop closes down. If you open Kai on your latop XBMC Kai UI loses its connection.
