@Jeroen, I have severe problems with the fanart background on the homescreen. It is not showing when i start Kodi and appears a while later or it does not appear at all.

I collected logs but the file is 63MB big Confused

Looking into this, but so far I haven't found anything that is pointing to a skin issue. It may be related to the fan art grabber add-on, but not sure. I haven been looking at other methods but currently there just is no useable substitute for fan art grabber.

Looking into this, but so far I haven't found anything that is pointing to a skin issue. It may be related to the fan art grabber add-on, but not sure. I haven been looking at other methods but currently there just is no useable substitute for fan art grabber.

I will investigate some more myself. Maybe there is something wrong with my combinations of addons

Are you using a mysql db? I have seen people have some issues with that in combination with fanart grabber.

Not for Kodi. But i do for MediaPortal.

Do You use Artwork Downloader which doesn't download anything at all or fanart grabbed by Kodi itself doesn't show up?

It seems i first have to browse my movie or TV series library before the fanart starts to appear on the homescreen.

I use Artwork Downloader. I believe it does download fanart since animated art does appear automatically.

I manage my movies in TinyMediaManager and use Plex as my mediaserver. So a lot of the fanart is already located in the media folders.
