I can't reproduce on my setup so maybe it's your mysql backend causing the problem.

I had that thought too, since it follows me setting up kodi for mysql. though I don't understand how it would affect something like that.... is there something in my advancedsettings.xml causing this?

so update: I removed everything from advancedsettings except the database fields - issue persists
-renamed advancedsettings so it's not used at all - issue persists.

So it would appear that my mysql backend is not causing this.  I will fiddle with it more and see what I can find

I believe I have found the culprit: a setting.  When the following is set:
Settings > Player > Video > Play next video automatically > Uncategorized

then the playlist borks (as previously described in this thread).  Uncheck "Uncategorized" - playlist works fine.  I have just reproduced this on one of my android boxes, and the PC install, both with my old settings, and with a clean slate.  As soon as I uncheck Uncategorized then the playlist works fine.  (The other settings such as TV, Episode and Movie don't seem to have any effect either way)


Can this be reported as a bug?  Please let me know if you need more information
