hi, I have the microsoft official wired usb xbox 360 controller (dual platform, I can use it with pc games too)

Is this compatible with XBMC for windows? thanks

Yes and no
Yes it works if you use keyboard mapping software like xpadder and
joystick 2 mouse... No it doesnt work without the help of xpadder etc..

No, that remote control is IR (InfraRed), not 2Ghz RF (Radio-Frequency) like the game controller.

I'm using Joystick 2 Mouse only and have mapped all the keys I require. Works flawlessly. No xpadder required.
