I have the same problem. I have my PC with XP directly connected throught vga cable to my LCD TV.The TV is FullHD (1080p) and it allows 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1360x768 and 1920x1080. I can run XBMC in windowed mode, I tryed to set a supported resolution in the windowed mode, shut it off and run it in fullscreen, but I get "not supported video resolution" again.
What can I do? How can I change the full screen mode resolution?
Thank you

Ok, I did it work!!!
Nextel, what you have to do it's find the proper resolution for your TV, that is a VALID MODE, maybe you can find it in the TV manual, for example, my TV allow:
640x480
800x600
1024x768, 1280x1024, 1360x768 and 1920x1080

OK, i got it, thanks. I'm having a problem with skins though. Can you use the same skins you would use from an XBOX?
