Video Filters
#1
First of all, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for porting XBMC to Windows. Finally a good meaningful media center interface has arrived to the PC. Don't get me started on the horrors of the Vista or XP Media Center platform from microsoft, I hate em! Who ever though that scrolling through a library of hundreds of videos in thumbnail view with no option to switch to a list view was a SMART idea.

Anyways I digress.

What I came here to ask is the following:

1. Does this in anyway use FFDShow and the filter settings i have setup for it?
2. If answer to #1 above is no. Then where did the various filter functionality disappear to ? For instance on the xbox version of XBMC there was an option for a pixel shader filter that seemed to improve the video quite well.

Regards,

Xantari

1. No, see => http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=34138
2. What are you talking about? The renderer or? As far as I know there is currently only one renderer for OpenGL and it does use pixel shaders.
