Disable Debug info
#1
So I've searched the wiki and the forum but I can't seem to find how to disable the debug info the displays onscreen on the windows build. On linux i just added -q when launching, but that doesn't seem to work on here. I'm compiling from the svn using C++ express 2008. Did something recently change to make it default to enabled? I don't remember it being there when I compiled before.Oo

-q was also removed from the Linux build. Go to settings->system and disable debug log.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

ok, thanks for the help. I'll try that in the morning. It's 3am here and I need some sleep, lol. As a side note, you guys might want to remove the -q information from the README.linux file.

6.5 Turning off on screen debug info
----------------------------------------

The proper way is to compile with the --disable-debug option this will
make a smaller executeable as well.
Add -q to the commandline "./xbmc.bin -q" will remove the on screen
Debug info when you have compiled with debug mode on (default)

I looked there because I couldn't remember what the command was to disable it. I was surprised when it didn't work. Obviously not something of extreme importance, but just figured I would mention it.
