Some quick background: Got a new treadmill, and since just running is Very Boring™ I mounted a Raspberry Pi with a 7" screen on it. Yeah, not a big screen, but anyway…

I installed OSMC on it and picked the Estouchy skin (the default wasn’t very handy with a touch screen). In the menus, it works perfectly, but in the video player the buttons are rather small, to the point where they’re essentially unusable on the run (or even when not running).

1) Is there a way to change the size of the buttons in the video player, either through a setting or through modifying an XML?

2) Is there a different touchscreen skin that I could try?

the easiest way would be to increase the spacing between those buttons.
you can modify this line in IncludesPlayerControls.xml:

try is setting the value to 70 works better for you.

I have created a custom skin that I think is "good enough" for a Raspberry Pi 7" touchscreen.
