the 4K media flag missing
#1
The 4K-UHD media flag is missing from movies, in every view,
but it appears OK in TVshows ! (all other media flags are fine)
This is happening only with Amber skin, not with Estuary, and I noticed it few days ego.
It was definitely OK few version ego, cannot tell for sure, probably before 3.2.107

Even if I add the 4K keyword to the filename the flag does not show in movies.
I even checked the streamdetails table in MySQL, everything seems OK.
Also checked that the 4K.png files exists in
/addons/skin.amber/media/badges/videoresolution

What is making it stranger is that if I follow the path
Main menu-->movies-->files submenu--> and then choose there a source containing movies and start browsing, the flag appears in that view.
I am using kodi 18.9 and Amber 3.2.109
I checked everything I could think, any advice?

@LED123 , it could be related.  If you are OK to download from GitHub, the fix for the issue in that thread you mention is already uploaded. The link is https://github.com/bartolomesoriano/skin.../tree/Leia, and you can download a zip file from that page.  Then you can just replace your skin folder with the contents of the zip.

If you decide to download from GitHub, please let me know if this fixes the issue for you.  Thanks.

Bart

Unfortunately the latest from GitHub didn’t fix the issue.
I did some more testing with other devices, and I discovered that the problem doesn’t appear
with devices running kodi on windows 10. It only appears in devices running kodi on Linux.
(Obviously using same collection and common MySQL)

@LED123 , thanks for investigating further.  I do not have a lot of testing capability for Kodi on Linux.  It is most likely a letter casing issue.  I will see what I can do.

Bart

EDIT: @LED123 , could you please try the latest from GitHub? Please let me know if there is any change with the fix I just uploaded.  Thanks.
